SEAM client is the local self-host binary — free, unmetered, on your machine. SEAM-API is the hosted API product — keys, SDK, and MVP surfaces via Canticle. They are different packages. Do not confuse a client download with API access.

SEAM client panels stay locked until you sign in. SEAM-API has no public client tarball — Console, SDK, and MVP waitlist only.
